Yuanchu Technology stood out from 1325 outstanding companies and research teams worldwide, becoming theonly Chinese technology team to enter the finals, earning the chance to competefor the grand prize.
This four-year global competition is aimedat tackling the biggest threat facing humanity – fighting climate change andrebalancing Earth’s carbon cycle. It offers a $100 million prize funded by theMusk Foundation to innovators who can create and demonstrate solutions thatdirectly remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere or ocean, and then sequesterit durably and sustainably. The competition supports the removal ofatmospheric and oceanic carbon dioxide on a continuous and scalable basisthrough four pathways: Rock, Air, Land, and Ocean.
